Community Health Centres (CHCs) have been improving the health of Canadians for over a century. In Nova Scotia, nine CHCs serve local communities — and in January 2025, the Pictou County Community Health Centre proudly opened its doors.
Born from a shared vision and a lot of heart, PCCHC exists to make health care more accessible for everyone in our county. Whether you need primary care, system navigation, or community support, we’re here to meet you where you are — and walk alongside you on your path to better health.

Our Founders
The dream of and planning for a Community Health Centre in Pictou County began around a kitchen table and was realized through the determination of our six founders
